SSt. George’s, Grenada, July 20, 2015:- The contestant representing the parish of St. George has been replaced due to medical reasons. Miss. Samantha Charles the representative for St. George has been recently hospitalized and had to undergo emergency surgery. As a result, Ms. Charles has not been medically cleared for participating in the National Queen Show, due to the hectic preparation and strenuous nature of the competition specifically as it relates to the costume section. Spicemas Corporation has expressed its regret and wishes Miss. Charles a speedy recovery.
The National Queen Show is carded for August Thursday August 6, at the National Stadium. The Seven contestants will be presented to the public for the first time during the Semi Final of the Groovy Monarch competition to be held in Carnival City on Wednesday.
