Miss Ria Mitchell

Ria Mitchell, born on 24th February 1992, grew up in the agricultural community of Clozier, St. John. She attended St. Rose Modern Secondary School and pursued the field of Social Sciences at T.A.M.C.C. In 2011 she was a leading debater in the National Youth Parliament.

Growing up Ria showed a keen interest in the Performing Arts. From the age of 6 she played an active role in her church by singing, dramatizing and later playing an array of musical instruments without formal training.

At age 18, Ria participated in her first queen pageant and won the title of Miss St. John. During her reign she promoted good moral values and was considered a role model to other youths. In 2012 Ria was a top 10 finalist in season 2 of Grenada’s Best Talent show. Ria endeavours to become a professional actress and singer. Her motto is “Believe in the impossible”.
