The Board of Directors of Spicemas Corporation has unanimously decided to shift the focus of Spicemas 2024 towards supporting relief efforts following the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl. We understand the significant impact Hurricane Beryl had on our brothers and sisters in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.

As one of the statutory bodies of our tri-island state, we feel it is incumbent upon us to assist in the relief efforts and the rebuilding of the affected areas in the best way we can.

Fitting with this shift of focus, we announce the new theme for Spicemas 2024: “People of Resilience: Weathering the Storm Together.”

The Spicemas Corporation will partner with other promoters to host a Relief Concert featuring our entertainers. Funds from this concert, as well as a percentage of the revenue from Spicemas 2024, will be allocated to the rebuilding of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. These funds will be donated directly to the Government of Grenada’s Hurricane Relief Fund.

We encourage everyone to participate in all Carnival activities to assist our government in generating the necessary funds needed for Hurricane Beryl relief efforts. In this time of need, we join with the Government of Grenada to aid in the rebuilding of homes and buildings lost or damaged.

The Spicemas Corporation is thankful to all our stakeholders, including the carnival bands, event promoters, the hotel industry, entertainers, vendors, sponsors and all patrons locally and abroad, for their commitment towards the goal of a successful carnival this year. Spicemas 2024 goes beyond socio-economic development, it fosters cultural expressions of our rich heritage, community spirit, togetherness, entertainment and business.

We encourage everyone to participate and make Spicemas 2024

one that focuses on resilience, togetherness and hope so that Grenada

will rise again.
